Printing
Printing own photos for exhibition or for sale? anyway great approach. But how? Maybe first test some printing shops in Vienna, test material, appearance etc. After that decide if an own printer makes sense.
Suitable photo printers are
- HP Designjet T250 or
- Canon imageProGraph Pro-1100
- maybe also plotters such as the Epson SureColor SC-T2100 with universal paper

Medium Format vs Full Frame vs APS-C
thinking about Fujifilm GFX 50s II - or even Canon R6 or Nikon Zf
- for daily photos I need a small camera (e.g. Fuji XT-20). Many photos would not have been made otherwise.
- Heavy cameras suck. I don't take them.
- Fuji is just right. but even the X-T line is big. Smaller is always better.
- Also I want to have a flash for night socials. And manual lenses
- but I need a viewfinder (I think)
XPro 2
Borrowed from Michi. the camera is great:
- love the OVF. better people photos
- love the form, feel
but :
- no USB charging is ennoying
- EVF/OVF is small for glasses
- daylight to bright for marks in OVF
- manual lenses are not as convenient as with the X-T3
- old tech is ennoying
- expensive for what it offers (to me)
Nikon Zf?
new dreamings with new model..
- great retro.
- full frame,
- exciting new,
- great as t for low light
- great ibis
but:
- heavier the fuji
- feels not great in the hand
- don't want to invest in new (nikon) lenses
- flip screen is not my taste
- don't want to learn new menu system
- only few fitting lenses, the rest is modern and big..
- no aperture ring on the lenses
